Summary
People enjoy visiting the beautiful seasonal cascade of Buck Gulch Falls. Over time, foot traffic has trampled vegetation and increased erosion along the Arroyo San Jose stream in San Ignacio Valley. The stream crossing to the falls is also a safety concern. Without trail improvements, the landscape near the falls could be irreparably damaged. This document outlines next steps and the opportunity for public comments at a Parks and Open Space Commission meeting on July 17, 2025.
