Frequently Asked Questions
WHO CAN VOLUNTEER?
All ages and abilities are welcome, including beginners, children, and seniors. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Volunteer work varies in physical demand, but for most events we provide a variety of activities suitable for all ages and abilities. Beginners, children, and seniors are welcome. We will let you know in advance if an activity requires heavy physical exertion or will be taking place in a steeper terrain.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Always bring a water bottle, and wear sturdy shoes and comfortable, layered clothes. Parks provides water, gloves, tools, and training. At special events, we may also offer treats, coffee, lunch and sometimes raffle prizes.
HOW DO I GET MORE INFORMATION?
