1. CALL TO ORDER
Meeting was called to order at 7:03 pm by Comm Wittenkeller, as acting chair
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
No public comment at this time.
3. APPROVE MINUTES FOR REGULAR MEETING OF SEPT 12, 2024

4. UPDATE ON CURRENT CSA 16 AND PARK DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES (INFORMATION ITEM)
County staff reviewed the ongoing operations and maintenance projects, including irrigation improvements, fuel reduction, SFD frontage improvements, hazard tree removal, mulching, stormwater infrastructure changes, and bamboo removal.
Public Comment: No members of the public came forward.
Commissioner Comments: Commissioner Wittenkeller: median pruning is especially important for maintaining safe evacuation routes. Would also like to say big thank you to DPW who cleaned up all the slurry seal very quickly upon request. The contractor is DryCo from the east bay.
5. FY 24-25 AND FY 25-26 BUDGET UPDATE (ACTION ITEM)
County Staff reviewed the budget revenue and expenditures for FY 24-25 and FY 25-26. FY 25 revenues were approximately $343,000. Expenses were approximately $438,000. Major expenditures included ongoing landscaping contracts, and Bauman Landscaping, which has $118,000 allocated for SFD frontage. Approximately $58,000 is budgeted for Manor Road and La Cuesta Entries.

6. ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS
Commissioner Wittenkeller expressed profound gratitude to Jack Valinoti for profound dedication to service and leadership for GPOA and CSA 16. “We want to take a moment to express our profound gratitude to Jack Valinoti for his exceptional dedication and leadership. For over 13 years, Jack served our community on the GPOA as President
and as Chair of County Service Area 16 Advisory Board, completing in 2025. His unwavering commitment, insightful guidance, and tireless efforts have been instrumental in
guiding Greenbrae and its neighborhoods.”
Commissioner Glenn wants to look at SFD from El portal to corte Comoda.
