  2. Public Comment 
    Open time for public expression, up to three minutes per speaker, on items not on the Bolinas Lagoon Advisory Council Agenda.  (While members of the public are welcome to address the Council, under the Brown Act advisory council members may not discuss, deliberate, or take action on items not on the agenda, and generally may only listen.)

  4. 2026 State of the Lagoon Conference 
    (Action Item)
    The Bolinas Lagoon Advisory Council (BLAC) has a tradition of hosting a State of Bolinas Lagoon Conference every other year in spring or early summer to showcase projects at the Lagoon and topics that impact its health. Due to COVID and staffing considerations the last in person State of the Lagoon Conference was held May 2, 2019, and a virtual event was hosted on June 23, 2021. Recently a consultant group from SJSU/Moss Landing Marine Labs, the Central Coast Wetlands Group, working on Caltrans’ Bolinas Lagoon/HWY1 Adaptation Study has offered to coordinate efforts to present this Conference, in collaboration with the BLAC.
    Recommendation
    Staff recommends that the Bolinas Lagoon Advisory Council schedule an in-person State of the Lagoon Conference in late spring of 2026, and that a subcommittee of BLAC members is formed to plan and host the Conference in collaboration with SJSU/Central Coast Wetlands Group.

  7. Next Regular Meeting Date 
    (Action Item)
    Approve date for the next Bolinas Lagoon Advisory Council meeting.
    Recommendation
    Staff recommends that the Bolinas Lagoon Advisory Council schedule its next meeting for Friday March 27, 2026 at 10 a.m. for the next regular meeting. The proposed location is TBD.
