10:15 a.m. – Tour of the College of Marin Marine Lab Facility

The new College of Marin Bolinas Marine Laboratory, also known as the Bolinas Field Station, was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 29, 2025. The $7 million facility, located on Wharf Road along the Bolinas Lagoon, replaced a historic but deteriorating 1918 Coast Guard station that the college had used for its marine biology program since 1964. Joe Mueller conducted a tour of the facility for attendees.
